Last month, I attended a conference for photographers out in San Diego (more on that later). While I was out there, I had the chance to attend a workshop taught by the amazing Laura Parker of Laura Parker Photography. Here is a quick preview from the workshop:

This is Parker.
She will be turning 1 soon!
A lot has happened in one year. She learned to giggle, roll over, sit, and crawl (among many other things)!
She practices giggling quite often.
Love how she’s feeling the wind in her hair!
She’s either mad at me here for taking so many pictures or she’s working on her “blue-steel”.
A little tummy-time with mommy and daddy. Then, after the shoot, Parker changed into more comfortable clothes.

I met this great couple for the first time the other day. They were in from Washington DC, and wanted to get back on Galen’s old college campus…and back to the time they met. I had so much fun photographing and learning about Galen and Amy – I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding this June at Kentuck Knob! Here are a some shots from our evening together.
We lucked out with this beautiful evening (even though the sun was hiding). I loved the location of this shoot – it was elegant and fun!

This is a much overdue welcome to baby Daniella Alexander! She is precious, and beautiful just like her mama – Eileen! Congratulations to you and Mike on this blessing. I’m sure you’ll be amazing parents!

It’s been quite a year for Muse. We’ve been busy with weddings, portraits, Femme Couture sessions, life (this one really keeps us on our toes), and BABIES!
Our very own Kelly had a sweet baby girl recently. You can tell she’s a great mom already!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby so alert and aware of the camera. I see a future of modeling for her.
We played a little game of “guess where baby is”. Hee hee
Kelly, your daughter is such a doll. Congratulations! We’re so happy for you and she’s absolutely beautiful… just like her mom!

Meet Riley. She might look familiar. She’s the smile that greets you when you first open up the Muse page.
She has the same smile… but she added some curls!
Meet Riley’s parents. Riley turned 2 recently and her parents wanted some portraits of her. We had a lovely time chasing her around the park trying to capture her personality (which wasn’t hard because she has a lot of it!).
Riley’s dad is a golfer…so naturally, so is she.
And of course, the goofy face.
What a character! I love this little girl!
I recently did a night portrait session with Keri, and we had so much fun! What a beautiful model! She wanted to give these as a gift to her husband for their 10 year wedding anniversary…and he loved them! <3

Just wanted to share a few images I took recently. These boys all have great names too! Oscar is getting a smooch from his Mimi (top), August was only 2 weeks old with a full head of hair (middle)! So sweet. Harper is going to be a heart-breaker…can you tell (bottom)?!
I also did a maternity shoot with Heather, who has since had her little girl! Here some photo’s from our session.
